I’m a writer. And also a hiker, biker, someday-again climber, lover of stargazing under a dark night sky, and an avid grower of food and flowers. Nature, family, friends, and time in the outdoors are my sources of inspiration, and I find the greatest joy when all those wonders come together.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked as a professional writer and creative strategist, helping organizations and individuals find language that is clear, relatable, and centered on what matters most. Whether shaping brand narratives, writing long-form content, or refining voice, my work is guided by curiosity, attention, and a love for collaboration.

For nearly a decade, we made our home in the Boise Mountains above the South Fork of the Payette River, where our dogs and chickens could run free. When it was time for change, we traded our mountaintop for the open road, traveling cross-country in a small trailer, visiting family and friends, and keeping an eye out for where we wanted to put roots down next. We’re back in my home state of Washington now, just outside of Bellingham, marveling at the many shades of moss and lichen that thrive in the Pacific Northwest.

Whether I’m journaling on the trail or crafting a brand framework for a client, writing, for me, is a way of paying attention and making meaning on the page and in the world.
